Members option to hide shoutbox

I have a number of members who love shoutbox...but on the other hand some that don't.

One member asked for this option so I thought I would check.

Can there be a code or plug in to allow members the choice of "seeing" the shoutbox when they are logged in?

where members can choose to hide/show the shoutbox
