Member Gallery In Post

ALL suggestions for changes to the plugin considered.

This plugin enables members to add a gallery to a post.
Great for adding multiple images to one post that your members want to display.
Photo's, GFX, anything you want that is in PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF format.


Press the center button to display the center image in the scrolling bar. You can then click the large image in the top window to open it in a new window at full size.
Left and right buttons to change the scroll direction.
Open and close buttons to open/close the top display area.
'i' button to pop-up an instruction template.

To initiate the gallery then [postgallery] must be added to the post and then for each image:

You can also see this on the demo site by quoting one of the gallery posts.

If you think you can improve the instruction pop up then it's editable!.

This is a great plugin! What I think would make it awesome is if there was some way to have a "button" users could click and then just have to paste in the url information for their photos. Many of my users are not computer literate enough to enter the information correctly. If it was similar to posting a single photo it would be perfect. Thanks for putting this together, it really looks promising!

Thanks. As soon as I get some time to look over this plugin again, I'm planning on making it more user friendly with something like you're describing.

I know this is really old, and don't expect to hear back but will this ever be usable again? The links are broken since Photobucket no longer works for free. IMGUR or Pinterest works well for third party hosting. I love the idea of this plugin, I want something I can use in posts not make a dedicated gallery for.

You should be able to make this usable again yourself by replacing the plugin's button images for your own (Button Images tab) and their corresponding URLs (links) in the 'First Window Message & CSS' tab.

Our Help Guide article on External Resources lists image host services that are an alternative to photobucket and imgur. These are forum friendly and all but a couple are free to use.
