[Request] Move to new Group by post count.

Im not really sure if anyone is working on this and if they are just point me in the right direction and delete this.

I would like to see a plugin that moves you to the next group by post count. (not rank)

The reason for this is so when some one joins they have no permissions but after they post in the welcome center they can see the next topics and when they post in those, they move up and can see the next  topics...

Basically I want someone to only see what i want them to see until they post the required amount of post to get full access to the awesomeness lol...

i hope thats understandable.

not possible to automatically change a user permissions without interaction from a staff member. it literally requires a manual send to the server to change a member's permissions

any ideas how try to get around what im trying to do at all?
once I launch I don't want to have to change 1000 people groups at once...

it depends on what permissions you are talking about. if you want someone to reach 1000 posts and suddenly be able to modify other people's posts or profiles, then no., it cant be done. if you want someone to reach 1000 posts, and suddenly be able to see an entirely new board, then that can be done.

ok awesome I just want them to be able to see a new board at like 10 50 and 100 post something like that not do moderator things

how long would it take to make a plugin like this ?

dont need a plugin. in the board permissions, you can set "view" to custom. and have it where only a certain posting rank is required to see the board.

right now its not letting me create any boards or categories at all

nothing in my back office is working at all...

I cant see ranks groups or even change anything
