"Last Edit" Help

Okay, I'm having a little bit of trouble with removing the "last edit" line. I removed the part in the template that people have told me to edit, but it's still there - at least, in my posts. I'm having difficulty comprehending why this is the case. Is there a reason why I'm still seeing this?

Hi, Mandoli.

It looks like it's still present in the Layout Template that controls it.

You'll want to remove this from Structure > Layout Templates > Thread > Post List.

I kept doing that, and it never removed it. I was getting pretty annoyed.
