I'm making a Shop code to accompany the Monetary System code. However, I need to do some redirects. So I know that we are not allowed to redirect without user interaction. But I need to add data to something in the edit profile section. So I was wondering if this scenario was okay or not: User buys something, alert pops up to confirm purchase, on confirm the user is taken to the personal section of there profile, the form is filled and saved, and then they are taken back to the previous page.
Is that okay, or do I need another confirm on the profile page before I can save the form and take them back?

You will need another confirm before you can take them back too..
But I suggest you don't use 'confirm's, as a member has to have the option to click on the ads of any page load, a confirm would stop that, and so would be a TOS violation.
Instead, I would create a pop-up box, maybe a <div> element with a button the user can click to confirm, that way the ads would still be accessible, and all would be good.

Well it was saving data in a custom profile spot but I think I just decided to rewrite half the code and make it use a super key. That way this problem is virtually non-existent

I was going to suggest a key because then you dont have to go to the profile edit at all

Yea, that's what I decided to do. In future updates I was going to add the ability for individual users to sell items and give items. The only way to do that reliably is with a super key so that's what I converted the plugin to.
