Recent Threads/Posts

Are there any customization possibilities here?

My users are coming from a forum where they had the ability to see only the new posts since last visit.  They are saying "Recent Threads/Posts" is showing too broad of a date/time range for them compared to what they were used to.

I don't think you can change the results of the participated links, but you can change the styling of them (of course). Sorry!
