Post Quarantine [library support]

I read it. but There is absolutely NO WAY it is writing to the keys on browsing anymore. all of that coding was removed in favor of using the set_on command. keys can now only be written to when a post is submitted to the server. if you are seeing new notifications now, they were flagged from before you upgraded.

Also I just looked and it looks like it quarantined some of the posts that it didn't quarantine earlier. Ones without checkmarks. But there are a few that don't have checkmarks, and aren't quarantined now, so it will probably get them later! LOL

answered. I am positive the new version cant be doing it. unless someone is running an older version from their cache. I would think the next time they close their browser it would refresh the cache

Wormopolis, I hate to tell you this, but its doing it again. I have 4 quarantines for the same thread and its one that I started.

and another one of mine got flagged today. Another thread started by me. I'm wondering if that is where the issue is. Threads started. Is that possible?

The whole thing is weird. I posted that article on July 9, 2014. It got flagged today, Jan 20, 2015, though the flag date in the companion says Jan 4, 2015.

Edit: Groan, and another, this time one of my posts from Dec 2013. WHY?

I'm having some issues with the plugin - seems it's the same thing that blc is talking about - I get notifications for quarantined posts who are made by excluded members and are also a few days/weeks old.

I tried removing it and installing it again - no change.

Im trying to find out if there is a way to determine WHEN a key was modified. in the meantime, CLEAR the key data for quarantine and quarantine companion. that should remove all flags from all posts and all notifications for all members. Until you do that, if you (or anyone) happen to browse a thread that DOES have flagged posts, and those posts currently dont have notifications in your list, it will list them as notifications again. as for NEW posts getting flagged for no reason, that doesnt make any sense with the current version because key writes dont happen unless an edit or create event happens.

Im going to add my own timestamp into the flag data so when admin hovers the banner it will tell you WHEN the key was written along with all the other data.

There have been some minor modifications to the plug in since this was written, but they are minor and should be pretty explanatory.

Have you made the normal quarantine part of it work without worrying about the last post stuff?
