I don't know. I haven't ok any. But they appear even when I am the only one there. There doesn't seem to be any reason for which thread gets 'reported' and often it triggers several posts in one thread.

They might have had older flags on them that never activated, but now that the year changed they are being read incorrectly. the plugin doesnt have any code to write to keys unless a new post or edit post occurs.

But I would have noticed had there been so many unflagged posts. All new members get quarantined until they have 10. As I mentioned its sporadic. It even flags threads I have started. Its crazy.

Edit: Wormopolis, I ok'd the ones that I could, then cleared the rest of them (mine but the banner was suppressed, so I couldn't see it to ok) So I cleared.

Two more appeared and they were from a thread that I just okd/cleared. Plus its flagging stuff from 2013 now. It started happening in the afternoon so it wasn't like it started at midnight.

Second Edit: Wormo some of the flagged posts that are showing up after I okayed them all, are posts that I already okayed. I get a notification, then go to the thread, and because the post has already been okayed, the number changes once I enter the thread. So, yes it is flagging already okayed posts.

Third edit. Wormo, after clearing it all out, 6 hours later there were 56 more. So. I deleted the companion and reinstalled. Still happened. I reinstalled the post quarantine. still happened. I then reinstalled the post quarantine, but cleared the key, and kept the settings. Its been about an hour and I just checked and its still happening. So, I reinstalled the post quarantine, and this time deleted everything, cleared the key and deleted the setting and plug in and started fresh, re-creating the rules etc. Still happening.

No one else is posting about having any issues with it so I am at a complete loss as to why its happening. I even tried moving it up towards the top, right under yootil and monetary. Didn't help. I am forced to disable both. I don't know what else to do.

Wait maybe Im misunderstanding. you are just getting notifications for flagged posts, or are posts actually being flagged?

ok so during my testing, I found and fixed a bug that was causing a set when using pagination for some reason. The normal behavior though is to repopulate a notification dialog with any found posts that currently arent in it. so lets say you have 5 posts that are quarantined on the page, and you use the "clear all notifications" button. if you leave the page, then it wont have notifications for them anymore. but if you go back on that page, it will put reminders back into the queue that they are still quarantined.

the bug I just fixed though is what was causing the pagination to sometimes quit working.

Is that new or was that always possible? It kind of gives things away if people can see that someone posted, yet there is no post when then click to read it. Just wondered. Thanks

looking at adding this in as well since Im updating it.  will likely just make the cell blank.

No, they are actually quarantined.

The only ones I cleared were mine because the banner is suppressed, so the op in this case, me doesn't see it, so I couldn't ok it. But I am getting tons of quarantined posts and their notifications on posts that should not be quarantined at all. I'll go re enable the plug ins and see what happens, in case you need to take a look.

Sounds good, will watch for it. I re enabled the plug ins and so far so good. Keeping fingers crossed. I have no idea why this was happening.

Wormopolis, well nuts, its doing it again. Will keep checking for the update.

Well, I just installed the 1.2.8 version, but I'm a little confused by the template changes. Do those lines of code go in just once in each section? I don't know where to paste it. sorry

Just went back to my site and there are 4 new quarantines of an old thread. I already ok'd those posts. yesterday/this morning.

I didnt even know it had been approved...

the template changes were just if you wanted the last post stuff to be hidden if the last post was flagged. there are two spots that need to be edited. the board list and the thread list. the spans are different for each. Everytime I setup something for the standard layout I get a bunch of posts saying it doesnt work because someone has frankensteined the layout and nothing is where I expected it to be. so whatever element holds your last post stuff needs to have those spans added. it could be a table cell or a div, but I wont have any way of knowing for sure. look for whatever container has the last post stuff in it. its going to target the element itself when the code runs.

Wormopolis, don't know if you already read this post or not so I'm tagging you. I just had a thought. Remember I told you the banner when hovered will mention guest.. I don't have guests posting, BUT this is an old thread, there is no one on that would have been looking at it, but what about some guest just viewing it, setting it off. I know you said browsing was causing it, but I thought members browsing, but it seems to be guests browsing. maybe? I dunno.

It might be doing re-notifications, but it cant actually add to the key anymore unless you are either creating or editing a post. It supposed to re-add notifications if it stumbles upon any post that is still flagged for whatever reason but isnt already IN your notifications.
