Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working still.

Also, a question - if Staff A adds in an admin note, then Staff B edits that post, does the admin note disappear because it is only saved to Staff A's local storage? And/or can Staff B edit the note Staff A made?
Perhaps a key would help?

Any staff member that is able to edit the post should also be able to change or remove the admin note, and this plugin was made this way specifically so that it would not require a key, so I'd like to try and fix it, if possible, before I resort to that.

Can you please try this version... If the plugin is working you should get a pop-up displaying the admin note when you edit a post containing one.

Can you please let me know that you are getting the pop-up and what it contains.

I have been told to reply here for some help.

I have Download the Admin Note and I love it, Is there any way we can get rid of the Last Edit by but dont effect the Admin Note. So when I go and edit a thread I dont want to see who edit it last. But I do want the Admin Note to still work when I do need to edit a thread.

This is technically possible but my version of this plugin (1.0.3) that I installed a few years ago seems to be different from the version I installed fresh from the library (also 1.0.3) and it seems to automatically remove the edit by timestamp if the admin note is used. Since it's already removing it, I don't want to mess with the template to take it out for non-staff, in the event that the plugin is looking for a specific component to achieve this effect.

It shouldn't do, but make sure you have the latest version..
