The banner is cool....but it's not moving at all. No animation...isn't it supposed to scroll? I have the animate button clicked to ON. Tried it both ways...hmm...
Has this been an issue anywhere? Any solution? Am I just weird? XD
Thanks!

It animates to open coleifestorm, if you want the text itself to scroll just add <marquee></marquee> to the banner text section, , ie <marquee>This is my new forum</marquee>

For the chrome issue dismissing it, do you have cookies enabled? It works for me. EDIT: I have found the source of the Firefox issue and have a fix, in theory, but I need to keep working on the patch for this fix to make sure it works when deployed. Edit 2: New version has shipped, awaiting approval by ProBoards. In this update: TinMachine: Fixed the firefox bug (hopefully)! colelifestorm: Clarified the help text for the "animate" property. @nightshadecx5 is correct, animate simply refers to the animation of the bar sliding in and out from the top when it appears and is dismissed.

Yes, cookies always enabled. I've dismissed the notification for myself, I'll keep an eye on it for a little while. Is anyone else experiencing the issue, or just yourself? What are the settings you have in Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Privacy > Content Settings > Cookies?

Is it reappearing every page load, or only when you leave the site and return a while later?

To date it is working fine for me in Chrome on your site. Do you ever manually clear cookies or have Chrome set to clear cookies when it is closed?
Also, what is the frequency of the issue? Does it appear multiples times over the course of a few minutes of browsing, or random times throughout the week? Month?

Nope, don't clear cookies at all. Random times throughout the day. I think I found the bug, working on a patch. Did the latest release fix the Firefox issues with links? Edit: Chrome patch shipped, awaiting ProBoards approval.

Hi RedBassett I'd like to use this plugin for a cookie declaration thing, but I want to change the word "dismiss" to a simple "Close". Is this possible? Many thanks.
