Try, admin, themes, advanced styles and css, You'll see BACKGROUND. Click on Width and change it to the width of your image. That will probably do it.

Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS
Select Header (Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Image and change the value for Background Repeat to no repeat.

Hi tysm I have got the banner so it's not repeating, but it's not fitting as it should do! I changed the height to 400px so I could see the whole banner could this be the problem? When I change the width it pushes the whole skin out.

As "Stars Fall Too" suggested.. Your banner picture is 1,000 px Go to admin/ Themes/ Advanced Styles & CSS/ Visual Editor/ Width and change Width to 1000px
