Plugin ?

I've tried a few different plugins from the library to try and accomplish what I'd like to do and so far have really only succeeded in confusing myself. I'm borderline illiterate where HTML and other coding or CSS are concerned. I'm admin for a site which is pretty generic in form and I'm gradually adding in some of your plugins. We're a fan site for sports (one university in particular), general BS, and basic chatter. Ideally, what I'd like to do is to have a way to display upcoming schedules for "our" team. Perhaps a link or button which will take them to "2013 Football", "2013 - 2014 Basketball", etc. The link or button idea seems optimal to me but I'm certainly not married to the idea. 

What suggestions can anyone offer?

Have you tried adding events to your forum's calendar? That seems the most straightforward way to accomplish this.

I have. I also created a Custom Page and added a Calendar widget which made it seem rather cumbersome. Workable, but not exactly what I thought I might be able to do.
