Exporting & Importing Plugin Settings

Not all components are supported, but I tried it with the autoform for your plugin, and it works fine for me.

I was hoping other coders would jump in on it and help develop it to improve on it.

I REALLY wanted to, but I have had just too much work stuff this week to work on it so I was waiting until the weekend to try it out with Alters.  Plus I had like 4 plugins develop some awesome bugs I had to sort out.  I really do want to pitch in.

i tried this for the first time, i have export and import bookmarked, copied and pasted but nothing saved and i lost all money and records and stocks. i use mac could there be an issue there

Sorry to hear this has happened, tunescool, but this was an older topic concerning a hacky workaround. Tim is almost finished with an actual admin panel utility that can accomplish what this does without any of the risk.

Until then unfortunately I don't believe it will be possible to retrieve your plugin data without a $20 content restore.

The import and export code doesn't touch the plugin data at all (unless there is some super weird bug in my code that somehow loads the key tab?). It attempts to collect all the data on the settings tabs of any plugin you are currently viewing, and then allows you to import it.

The worse case scenario is that you would have to enter all your settings (just like usual).
