Don't really see any reason why this wouldn't be okay, but it's always better to ask than to get in trouble Would it be okay if I had people create "dummy" accounts on there boards to store data in by use of Super Keys? The reason I ask is, I'm trying to create a place for people to buy and sell items from each other in the Gold Shop. So it would require a cache that everyone could access and would always be there.

If I understand what you're asking, it's basically the same as this: support.proboards.com/thread/473428/new-super-key-suggestion. Your proposed solution even has the same pitfall mentioned in that thread, that unless that user can be guaranteed to be loaded on the specific pages it's needed on, there's no way to ensure that the data is going to be present. But as I mentioned in that thread, the idea of a new type of super key to accomplish this is already under review for possible implementation.

That's actually exactly what I was trying to do. I think I can work around it by building the shop on someones profile page with extra parameters added to the end (i.e "/user/5?pbey") That way the data would always be accessible by anyone trying to buy or sell from other people.

Heh, should've read the entire thread. Just one question. Will the key work the same way as a super key? Meaning everyone will basically have there own data, but everyone else can read/write it?

The structure of the data in the key is completely up to you, but it will be as if you had a super key that was always available, on every page, regardless of which users are loaded on that page. It will follow the same rules as the other keys still (e.g., permissions, etc.)
