Can the time stamp be removed and just have today, yesterday or the date in last post and no time stamp anywhere else?

Can the time stamp be removed and just have today, yesterday or the date in last post and no time stamp anywhere else? Is there anywhere specific you want the time stamp removed from, because then I an walk you through where about's to go in the Layout Templates to remove it/them.

Everywhere the time appears - last post, top of each post, when a post was made - like a few seconds ago or so many minutes or hours ago. I would just like to have the date and where applicable - today & yesterday.

You'd have to request a plugin that does that, @lucylane. You could have just the date display, but because you'd like the inclusion of "Today" and "Yesterday" that makes it significantly more tricky.

I'd be satisfied with just the date displayed David. Can that be done without a plugin?

The Post List template is missing the $[post.date] entry and any subsequent trees, so I'm currently not able to see if there's a variable that only outputs the date with no "3 hours ago", etc. Our developers are going to be reviewing the list of layout templates soon to ensure that all available variables are listed in the variable tree, so we'll have to wait until then for a template-based solution to your needs, @lucylane.
I did make a plugin that replaces timestamps that say "X minutes/hours ago" with the full day, date and time as seen when mousing over the timestamp, but because the system updates the time every minute when the post is between 1 and 60 minutes old, the plugin is overridden and goes back to displaying "X minutes". Not sure if you'd want that, but it helps when you'd rather see the full stamp instead of "20 hours ago". Let me know if you want that.

I appreciate your plugin offer David, but I'd prefer to wait for the template-based solution.
Thanks.
