I installed the smilie dropdown plug-in and listed the smilie url's, enabled it, but don't see it anywhere when I click on the smilies.
Please advise.

It's version 2.0.1 Beta Plugin with option to 'view all'. Maybe I'm supposed to disable or remove the smilies I already have on the reply menu and list all of those on the plug-in list too?

Looks like you didn't follow the plugin instructions. It says the smiles need to be in the format:
smilie[0]="URL OF SMILEY"; while you put them in the format:
smilie[0]=URL OF SMILEY; If you fix that, it should work.

That worked, and I can now see the 'view smilies' box, but now the smilies don't appear. I just see their coding descriptions. I guess I don't have the url addresses correct. I took the url addresses from their direct link photobucket url's.

You also appear to have missed the semi-colon at the end of each line.

The 'view all smilies' worked, but the 'select smilies' button only shows a list of url's in the plug-in list. I removed all but one until I find url's that work properly. Is the problem the photobucket url's?

I only see the 'view all smilies' button on the 'quick reply'. There, I see two buttons: the 'view all smilies' and the 'select smilies'. The smilies appear when I click the 'view...' button, but I only see a list of the url's when I click on the 'select...' button.
When I check the box to not have it on the quick reply, I only see the 'select...' button on the drop-down menu of smilies, and then only a list of the smilie url's.
I can't figure out why it's not working properly.
Pleas advise.

Nevermind. It works. I didn't know you highlight the url and the emo appears below it in the little screen.

Hi.. You should not see the URLs of your images in either the drop-down or the pop-up. The drop-down should have a list of your smiley codes (::sombrero1_zpsd4bff50a: and not the URLs. If it is, the code is tripping up somewhere. By the way, I believe Photobucket adds the list of random characters at the end of the image names, and because of that I usually suggest you use a different image host. It's up to you of cause, but the idea of this plugin was to make it possible to type in the smiley codes as well as finding and clicking them.. Hard to do with random characters being added to them all.

Yeah, they're not the urls, I meant the codes appear.
Could you suggest a good image host?
