I havent yet written a plugin using a regular user key, so Im taking a crack at it.

as usual though, if anyone else beats me to it, then it just means I move on to something else.

Its nice, but I would have loved it if it had the ability to choose which ranks gained however much name change;

An example would be...

Setting:
Add Rank : Visitor
Default Amount: 0
Amount Gained when rank obtained: 3


Ya'know? beable to space the numbers between the ranks so they only get name changes on certain ranks specified in the settings

And yeah I'm sorry if i'm asking for too much lol specially since this is freelancer stuff

No, ID is fine, just as long as it can be specified

so this was done, but somethign was recently changed in chrome that made it stop working. it still works in firefox and IE however.
