On the summary tab while viewing a member's profile, there are the Following and Followers on the right, I would like to make it so only two members list and not four, just to fit to my theme better and make it cleaner. My site: Novam Terram.

My site: Novam Terram. View AttachmentUnfortunately, I am of no help. I did look to see if it was an easy template modification, but unfortunately it isn't. It may be, but not an obvious one anyway. I thought maybe they'd be something to make it have 4 there for each, but as below shows you, it isn't. Hopefully Brian, or David Clark or CheatAreZee could tell us. Or maybe RedBassett.. I too am very interested for this {if $[following]} <div id="following" class="content-box right-col"> <h4>$[view_following_link]</h4> {foreach $[following]} <div class="mini-user"> <div class="mini-avatar"> $[following.avatar_medium] </div> <span class="name"> $[following] </span> </div> {/foreach} </div> {/if} {if $[follower]} <div id="followers" class="content-box right-col"> <h4>$[view_followers_link]</h4> {foreach $[follower]} <div class="mini-user"> <div class="mini-avatar"> $[follower.avatar_medium] </div> <span class="name"> $[follower] </span> </div> {/foreach} </div> {/if}

I don't think it can be done from the template. The kludgy way would be to set the height (or width) of the containing div and to hide the overflow with css. The better way would be a plugin or H&F code that uses jQuery to select the four components inside and removes two. A well placed piece of JS in the footer could probably remove two before the user saw them render.

You would have thought something like this would have been included to easily modify, with it being such a big design flaw (not flaw, but umm.. something people would want to change). Edit: How rude of me. Thanks for responding so quickly. I would have been watching this like a hawk otherwise haha

An admin may have a better idea. That's just my guess looking at the issue quickly.

Here you go:
{if $[following]} <div id="following" class="content-box right-col"> <h4>$[view_following_link]</h4> {foreach $[following]} {if $[following.iteration] < 3} <div class="mini-user"> <div class="mini-avatar"> $[following.avatar_medium] </div> <span class="name"> $[following] </span> </div> {/if} {/foreach} </div> {/if} {if $[follower]} <div id="followers" class="content-box right-col"> <h4>$[view_followers_link]</h4> {foreach $[follower]} {if $[follower.iteration] < 3} <div class="mini-user"> <div class="mini-avatar"> $[follower.avatar_medium] </div> <span class="name"> $[follower] </span> </div> {/if} {/foreach} </div> {/if}
The lines I added were the {if $[variable.iteration < 3} lines (and the matching {/if}s).

You're awesome Is there any way to give it MORE than 4?

You're awesome Is there any way to give it MORE than 4? Glad you like it! Unfortunately you can't have more than 4 at this time. That's all the data that we're loading. I suppose we could increase the number of users it brings back, but then it's wasted data for 99% of all cases.

.iteration. Never saw that before and I like it! Eventually we will fully document our template system, there might be some other variables in there of interest. You can see them if you expand an array-type template variable in the list on the right side of the page, though admittedly it can be confusing if you don't know how they work.

Yeah, it's been a while since I've used templates, and that was mostly investigating specific variables. Some day I'll have a while too look a little closer. I currently just guess what it would be called and take a look And you guys use underscore notation, which throws me off. I'm a camelCase person.
