I downloaded a News Fader from the plugins. It is making my board jump a little. Is their anything that can be done?

Is their anything that can be done that my board does not jump?

I'm not seeing anything jumpy. Is this still an issue?

The only instance it would be jumpy would be if the text inside it exceeded its height.

I was able to observe the issue yesterday, but can't see it today. On each crossfade to a new item, the entire forum would jump very quickly, as though the lower part of the news fader dropped to 0px tall and then reverted to its original height in a few tenths of a second if that.

Thanks Brian. I fixed it   No more jumping

I did add a Welcome To The Forum code. So far I have "Please Welcome Our Newest Member".. Is their anything else that I can add?

It depends on what you're looking to add.

Anything that's usually available in the Home template should be usable in the news fader, provided it's not too huge.

Could it show the birthday link and whosever birthday it is that day

It can show the birthday link, but it can't list anyone's birthdays, as that information isn't immediately available on the page.

Just update the old code to include the bits in green to add the birthday link to the V4 news fader plugin's existing news items.

Just add the colored bit to it, changing the hex color in blue to your preferred color.

I am using the mood changer post moods plugin but it is not working. Hellllppp!  I see the drop down box with the texts though. I selected to use text only. If I want to use it do I put pitszal or admin?
