Bold, Change Color of Usernames

With the new switch to v5 (which I hate!), my old codes for to bold and change the color of usernames no longer works. Anybody have a code for this? Thanks!

Do you wish to change the colour of display names (mine is RedBassett), or the colour of usernames (mine is applecomputer)?

To change the colour and bold display names, got to your admin panel, click Themes > Adavanced Styles & CSS > Stylesheet. The scroll to the bottom of all the code and add this:

.user-link {
   color: #FF0000;
   font-weight: bold;
}

Change FF0000 to whatever colour you had in V4, or pick a new one.

Thanks! Do I post specific usernames within that code somewhere? Also, I would like to change both the username and display name, though the display name is more important.

Nope, the above will change all user's display names.
There is a way using the above to target specific members (using their ID), but I can't remember how. I know it's something simple you add on to the above, but I just for the life of me can't remember haha

Ok got it!
.user-10522 { color: #000000 !important; }

Change the ID number (in this case 10522) to the member you want to target.
You can add other stuff such as weight etc to the CSS.

Also, where do I find user ID numbers? Is it just their username?

Not inside the previous code.
As for the ID, when you click on someone's name, and takes you to their profile, the web address will be something like this: support.proboards.com/user/27090
The bold, blue bit is the ID of the person. The above is mine, the below is yours:
support.proboards.com/user/198074

Use this   plug in..Styled Members Names.. You can give individuals a font color, background color and a border..
