Posting Activity Plus [library support]

For the Posting Activity Plus plugin

This plugin allows you to track for a specfic number of days of activity, as well as custom activity bars for specific boards.  so you could have one bar for IC boards, and a different one for OOC boards.  you can even still have a general bar that covers all the boards if you wish (or even display both).

like the other version, if you want a general bar, you need to put

<span class="post_act" style="display:none">$[user.registered_on]</span>

into the mini profile template.

if you are just using specific boards, you dont need to add anything.

note:  if you create a bar and start using it, then later decide you dont want that bar anymore, dont delete it from settings.  just remove all the "apply to boards".  the data is stored by position in settings and deleting one will cause all bars to be associated with the wrong bar.

Hey Worm, love the plugin but it seems to not taking into account all the posts made by some of our members. Do you know what may cause this? Like, I can post in several threads (all marked in the activity-bar settings) without increasing the number of posts registered by the bar, while others are getting all their posts registered.

what are your key permission settings? you dont have any group exclusions right?

and when you are posting, how are you doing it? anything in common like the quick reply doesnt add? or quoting?

can you post a url so I can look at settings?

Hi Wormopolis

I have tried this but It isn't working.

Settings set to allow staff to see it only.

General bar attempted, the preview function (in templates) is working though and shows the bar?

Please help, my experience with plugins started about an hour ago and I am terrified that I will mess something up

Edit: I was looking in Recent Posts and it doesn't show there.

I am however having issues getting the indicator to show, any ideas?

if you set the keys so that only staff can read/write to them, then no members data will ever save. needs to be on members and staff for that part to work.

to make it work on recent posts, I have to rewrite the code...

I cant see your settings unless you open the forum to guests.

I will open it to guests after I fix a few things, currently got it in MM as I am playing with plugins and I am having some other issues, one at a time though!

How long are you online for today? I need to duck out for an hour or two but would like to get this one sorted after that if possible

Ouch, now I cannot get it to work again.

I have it set to view by members and staff. Key settings R/W= members and staff.

Tried for the general bar and then the the board specific one but no luck!

I have unlocked my forum now for you to have a look if that's OK? ideally for now I just want it to be seen by me so I can view the aesthetics etc.

Feel free to make any suggestions etc regarding anything else that you see that is whacky!

Awesome plugin Wormopolis ! It's working awesome, except I have 1 question... why does it not seem to show on "everybody"?

Just got back from camping spin can look into this tonight.  Hopefully the plugin is still turned on and your forum is open
