OK, I am like in the stone ages I suppose. And I am dying to learn how to if this is even possible with Photoshop elements 5, um what's it called - make a banner or something and make the person/people kinda like look as if they are sticking out some. So it's not like this flat kind of banner. I want it I guess like 3-D looking I suppose. I think that's what I mean. I know I am probably gonna confuse the person or people that read this. hahah
Sorry if I had a sample of what I wanted I would show you.
So yeah don't tell me to google it, cause If I know exactly what the word I am looking for (Since I am not sure if it's 3-D) I am not finding anything of use.
So here I will describe what I kinda want to do with an image/banner I want to make.
I want to have two guys in this said banner ( one on either side) I want a background and then I want the guys looking like they are like sticking out some, (like they are actually standing there in front of the background ) not like laying flat on the background. I am not sure if a shadow thing will make them stick out enough. So is there anything else to do to make it look more realistic if that's even possible?
Oh and I really prefer to try this myself. So I would love a tutorial or something if anyone knows of one. Or if there isn't one, maybe someone that knows how to do something like this explain to me through pm or on here on how exactly to do this sorta thing.

If you paste a football for example onto a background, you can then go to layers / layer style / blending options, and experiment with the tick boxes to the left, and add shadows or emboss etc. You can customize everything there. If you have a single image, and you wanted to add a layer style, you would need to highlight the image, and copy then paste it back on itself, like two playing cards on top of each other. This will then activate the layers etc. The best tutorials are on Youtube.
