Updating plugins questions. [RD]

I've had reports that my forum is running slow and have a Yootil library plugin enabled, I saw somewhere that this plugin needs updating but can't seem to find the updated plugin to import.

So my questions are.
1) Does the Yootil library plugin need updating?
if so where is the updated plugin please?

2) Does the amount of plugins on a forum, slow down page loads and same for themes? The more themes, I have the slower the forum will be?

The most significant jump is from having no plugins to having one plugin. After that, each additional plugin adds a tiny bit more overhead, but the effect on pageload should be negligible. We specifically optimized the queries involved to minimize the effect of loading many plugins at once. This doesn't take into account whatever the plugins in question are doing on the page, however. (That part's up to the authors)

As for themes, you can have any amount of themes you want without having any effect on pageload, since we only ever load your current theme.
