Whenever I create a post in those boards, it shows the Home page background instead and it expands and looks bad there.

Thanks, Richie. I have installed the version 1.6.0 and now the home page background is showing in all of the other boards, instead of the special ones that are in the plugin. All of the info did import to the new version, so the links are there and I did enable it.

I am sorry if I didn't explain it well. My head is juggling a lot at the moment and apparently not very well. The latest version no longer changes the backgrounds that I entered into the plugin. Hope that makes more sense.

Hi, can this plugin really change the theme from board to board. we have downloaded the latest on and set it up over and over many times with no luck. Does it need another plug in to run with it or is there anything else that would stop it from running.  we have 2 themes. On light, one dark and need both on the same site to change with boards.

Any help would be great. Not being able to change themes is causing a lot of friction for some.

Or is there another way to do it?

URLs?  We are not linking to any URLs in the switch plugin.  Using your 1.6 version. Installed twice and downloaded and installed also. Neither works yet.

A bit new at this. We are not changing the background, just the theme per board. The master default does have a back ground photo.  The switch to theme , does not. It is just black.

Can this be done with this program yet?

We have set up 2 themes. We want one theme on one board and another on a different board.

Both themes will run if they are set to default.

The settings for this plugin are very simple and we have set it up correctly.  I can't see any way there is a mistake in setup.

It saves well now, Both screens,  About and settings and it holds now. Meaning after a day we can go back into the setting and they are as left.

It seems to me that there is something else outside of the program that is blocking the switch in themes.

Have you seen this work?  Is there anything special I have to setup in the themes or other setups to make this work.

Jus to try it I added a blank black URL to the second theme. Thinking they might both need backgrounds.

The second themes name has been changed from the original name.

Different Background Per Board only changes the background for one board.
All of the other boards have the same background as the forum's homepage.
It does not change the background for multiple boards.

We have tried it all. We only have 1 plugin, this one. We are trying just to shift 1 board to a different theme. Nothing! We tried just shifting the back ground. Nothing. After over 100 times of trying every combo we could think of, nothing works. The program has an option to switch themes. It don't work!. The option of switching back grounds, don't work. Does this need another plugin to work or is it a stand alone? Richie seems to be MIA at the moment. If this plug in does not work it should be pulled from the list. I can see nothing changed in the CSS, No new group. Same old same old. Should it load there also? If not, where is it. I can't find it anywhere yet. I imagine we are setting something wrong that is blocking it from working but what? Both themes are set to everyone and were pulled of the PB themes. They have been changed and renamed. Is that a problem? Lost the original name. Yet everything within the plugin looks as it should be. We really need a fix. Thanks

Plugin Update:

V 1.6.5 - This update should correct all issues that have been reported lately. also fixed a few minor issues made on my behalf.

if anyone has any more issues PLEASE post your forum URL. will export to plugin library only after i hear back any positive results.

I have installed version V 1.6.5 and given it a preliminary run through. So far, everything seems to be working as I had hoped. Will have to see how it works for the users on my forum, but it looks great to me!

Hi! I'm currently fiddling with your plugin for a friend's forum and it only worked one time. We added a random new background here: dreamersfantasy.proboards.com/board/39/vandom
And then wanted to add a new one here: dreamersfantasy.proboards.com/board/40/irma-lair
but no matter what I do the background jsut won't show. As you can see we have another plugin that changed the banner for each board that works just fine.
I already tried out different types of pictures, sizes, make it repeatable or not, different sources of pictures...

Help is much appreciated!

I just tested it on my own forum with the same result.
The very first additional background works just fine:http://guardian-legacy.freeforums.net/board/20/personal-rooms
But the second and third don't seem to work. All I see is the general background.

it looks like you're using an old version, can you please try the current version and see if that works for you?
