your issues lies in the fact that you are using a custom template. so the plugin cant find the sub-boards to do anything about them. what are you looking to do with the sub-boards?

But I think because I am using a custom skin its not working.

I am basically trying to hide the sub-boards from the site but it won't let me.

What can I do differently to make this work?

I tried at first just one board to see if it would work. It did not. Then I attempted all my boards and it would not work for all of them as well.

This plugin is more for treating sub-boards display differently between boards. its a question of if that is what you are after, or are you after hiding them on all boards? because a template adjustment would be better to hide on all boards.

if your template is modified so much that a plugin cannot recognize the key elements, then some plugins wont run. this plugin looks for board titles, but also needs to locate the td cell that would normally contain them.

I just wanted all the subs to be hidden on the Home page to be honest. The way it looks with sub boards in display is hideous.

I am not very familiar with coding and I was lucky I even managed what I did with this template XD

But you could be right, there may be a bit to much that the plugin is not working properly on it

so then what you want to do is go into the forum templates for that theme and look for something like

and remove it. make a copy of the board-list template before you make changes in case you need to undo

and for some reason it doesn't seem to be working.. not sure if it's the board remodel i'm using or something else.. can somoeone help m,e please?

Yeah it's your board remodel. There isn't any way for the code to ascertain where sub-boards are

i've seen plenty of sites with the same board remodel i have and you can see the sub-boards they have.. is this a special code different from the plugin.. is there no way to make this work with my forum or do you think that it would be better if i made a request thread for this?

they likely werent using the plugin. They MORE then likely just added sub-boards into the template itself. This plugin wouldnt be able to extract sub-board info on its own from the data. It just takes the sub-forums already on the page and transforms how they are displayed.

Your first step, is to find the origin of that remodel, and read through its support thread if it has one. because if you say many people have their sub boards listed, it probably says in that thread what needs to be done.

THIS plugin would require a major rewrite to work on any remodel

Are you saying that my sub-board is not displaying in a cell?

This morning I re-created the sub-board:TV Sporting News. It is not displaying in the drop drown.
