Sub-board Display Manager [library support]

Without the plugin my sub-boards were showing up.

This screenshot shows my new category and its new sub-board.

This new sub-board does not display as a drop down.

That display looks the same to me whether subboards plugin is on or not. I was confused what was board description vs subboards because your remodel messes with the structure

I do not understand what you are saying.

Why do my other selected sub-boards display in the drop down and my sports sub-board does not?

Im looking at the site and as a guest i dont see ANY sub-boards under sports. "Televised Sports" is a category. "TV Sporting News" is a board. I dont see anything else. not even under navigation

I made Sporting News into a sub- category.

Could it be that Sporting News did not become a sub-category?

Could it be that the sub-category is not working right?

Im seeing Sporting News as just a regular board. No boards are under it.

Sporting news has not been put into a sub-board by you

Hi Wormopolis

Ive noticed if i select to dispay them underneath it creates a new row.

How do i hide this new row if there are no sub boards for that board?

dont include the board in the list of boards in the plugin settings.

My forum recently had a problem displaying board lists properly. Boards indented at first, but reloading page corrected issue. Posted query on Support and reply was an error with this plugin.

This will be down to the author of the Sub-Board Display Manager plugin to fix as the method it uses to determine the correct colspan doesn't seem to account for hidden elements on the page.



I've removed plugin Version 1.2.2 Beta as I've changed forum and no longer require plugin. Perhaps latest plugin version doesn't have this issue.

I have the sub board display manager plugin, and it's working for every board I've turned it on for, except Announcements. It's trying to create a row beneath it, but nothing's appearing.

I've attached screenshots of the settings, and of the Announcements.

It's probably something super obvious that I'm missing!

There is a CSS rule in the default theme stylesheet specifically targeting and hiding that area

#category-2 .sub-boards{display:none;}

It looks to be 19 lines from the bottom

Forgive this bump, but I feel like this plugin request could also fit into this plugin's support thread. What I'm after is basically the Sub-board Display Manager, but with an added display option of "hover expanding" the sub-boards. It seems like the plugin author might not be around to see this or to continue supporting the plugin, but I figured this was the other option (the first being the plugin request sub) of where to suggest this feature. Maybe somebody else is feeling ambitious and can implement this feature.
