Smilie display gone

I got my plug-in to work but, after adding my 56 smilies, I realized the smilies were not sorted properly. Well, it was a lot of work to type them in one by one so I tried cutting and pasting the whole thing into Word and resorting there via cut and paste and renumbering. It was pretty easy, actually.

It should have worked. It did not. I am wondering if putting it into Word was the problem? I know there is embedded coding in Word that could mess things up. Of course, I am really up a creek now since I will have to start from scratch if that is the problem!

No. It isn't resolved, unfortunately. Nothing works now. The question I am asking is whether or not that is related to editing the list in Word.

I took a look and don't see anything obvious (at least to me) that would prevent the plugin from working correctly. I'll tag Todge to see if he can look into this a bit further for you

For right now, please don't bother. I am rethinking the whole thing. I decided, for instance, that I needed to save the smilies to my computer, give them uniform names, etc. I have nearly finished recreating the whole shebang. When I am done I will reinstall the plug-in and then you can help me when I fail!!

Hi-ya.

I am half way through creating a plugin that will help in sorting and adding smilies to the plugin. Hopefully I'll have a working copy this weekend.

And yes, Word is not the best application to use, it has a third type of quotation mark that JS does not recognise. Notepad is a better choice as that only uses standard text.
