Hello,

I'm having trouble getting header/footer code to work. I am trying to implement a [hide] BBCode and have tried 10-or-so variants, though I haven't gotten any to work. Ideally, I would like to use this one (support.proboards.com/thread/70484?page=1). I've pasted the code in the Global header and footer, saved, and tried testing it out but no dice. Is there something extra I need to install on my forum to add this kind of code?

As noted in the warnings before conversion, V4 codes will not work on V5 forums and may cause problems if added to headers and footers. Do not add any V4 codes to a V5 forum unless you know that code is V5 compatible. For the function of the code you just linked to, you will need a plugin. You can check if there is already a plugin in the plugin database, and if not, request a plugin.
