Strange.. It's a bit backward..

What browser are you using? I have tried all the major ones and it appears to be working correctly for me across all of them.

I am new to setting up a forum. I added the Smiley Dropdown & Smiley Management plugins. It works fine in the Shout Box. It does not work in Quick Reply in forum categories. Is it suppose to work there? If yes, how do I enable it?

In the Smilie Dropdown plugin, 3rd from bottom in the first tab, you should find the 'Quick Reply' option giving you 5 choices...

Yes, in a dropdown.
Yes, shown along the top.
Yes, as a scrollable list on the right.
Yes, in EB's UBBC code
No

Either of the first 3 options should work with differing results. 'Yes, in EB's UBBC code' will work if you have the UBBC plugin installed.

Or is there an easier method than changing each number in [ ] for organizing smileys in a specific order?

You are posting in the 'Smiley Management Plugin' thread.. Assuming this is the correct thread, then all you have to do is insert the smiley into the position of your choice and the plugin will give you the updated smiley list for you to copy/paste into the Smiley Dropdown Plugin.

If you meant to post in the Smiley Dropdown thread, then you have 2 choices, get the Smiley Management Plugin and let that do the hardwork for you, or, if you are using a fairly new version of the Smiley Dropdown Plugin, then you do not have to list the smileys using the smiley code any longer, but that would still require you relisting all of your smilies using JUST the image URLs, then you can add or remove smilies from the list without renumbering them.

This version will work with the latest version (4.0.0) of the Smilie Dropdown Plugin.
