FORUM URL: xxprotego.proboards.comI'm wanting to use an image instead of just the title in the sidebar, so that it looks a little nicer than simply having a word that says "Welcome" or "Staff" or whatever. Unfortunately, every time I attempt to put an image up there, the image is moved to the right and cut off, which makes it look very unclean in the end. Is there a way that I can use an image, center it and not have the colour of the title show? Or at least show evenly on either side of the image? Thank you!

Would you mind putting in an image to demonstrate the problem? All I'm seeing is THIS, which looks fine to me. On my site HERE, we use the sidebar redux plugin and made our sidetable header with simply putting <img src="IMAGE LINK"> at the top of the table, very first line. I know that the brown of the sidetable is showing but that's a design choice (it's actually image there, the image is transparent in the brown sections). The only thing that would show if I put a normal image in there is a very thin border of the brown color, which is rather aesthetically pleasing in my opinion, but I wouldn't be able to help you remove so perhaps someone else would.

An image has been re-added to help demonstrate my meaning. I apologize, I thought I had left it so that people could get an idea of what I was talking about. Hopefully someone will be able to lend me a hand now.

Do you have any off-sets or padding or anything like that in your coding there? Is the image the correct size to fill that exact space? (just a sidenote, I think the to-the-right-and-up positioning is actually really cool looking, at first I thought it was the intended design. It's quite appealing to me. But I understand the desire to get the code to work correctly!)

My knowledge of coding is so limited right now that I honestly couldn't tell you what kind of coding is in place. All I know is that, as the image is right now, it feels very choppy and imcomplete to me. It's definitely not an aesthetic choice at this point.

Could you copy and paste your code here, perhaps?

This is literally what is sitting in the Title section of the Plugin:
<div align="center"><img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/1z1bcwj.jpg"></div>

Try changing it to <center><img src="link"></center>, see if that helps at all. Is the image the exact size needed to fill the title?

I've tried about every type of center tag that I know to make this work. In the meantime I've created images that will serve this purpose, so I won't continue to look for a way to fix this for the time being. In the future I may revisit this, but not for now.

Hi, fleckphantasma. I recall seeing your forum previously. Did we fix this in another thread? They look centered now. Just wanted to check so I could label the thread as resolved.

They're not entirely centered, but there is a bit more padding on the far side to help them look better. For the time being, I've resolved this issue with the help that was offered, but it hasn't really centered the images for me.

Given their dimensions, they look pretty centered to me. Here's an image that illustrates an example by coloring the borders. Both sides have equal space.
