UPDATE:
If the server goes down over the weekend dont worry. When it does happen it will be down for no longer than 10 minutes. The purpose of this downtime is to remove the faulty components from the server now all data has been recovered and all forums are now functioning correctly
Once this is done, there will be no further work needed on this server
UPDATE:
Calendar issues resolved
Spell checker issues resolved
Performance problem tweaked - resolved
Resolved:
Every fourm should now be working full with the exception of about 10 of them which experieneced some data loss which will are now looking into working on.
If you are 1 of these people (basicly if your forum is giving errors etc) please just make a new thread in support, including "S82" at the start of the subject
ORIGINAL:
Apologies for the periodic problems with this server of the course of today.
This server has now been taken completely offline while repairs are carried out.
We currently expect the downtime to be approximately 2 hours, however I should soon be able to get a more precise estimate very soon.
I apologise for this extended downtime, it was decided that your data's integrity was more important than an extra 30 minutes of partial functionality at your forums
Again, my apologies for any inconvenience caused
UPDATE:
Unfortunatly just as i was about to post earlyer saying we will be done an hour earlyer than predicted, a small snag pushed us back (nothing to worry about, just a problem which required a manual reboot of the server in texas)
As that took some time to get done (i have little control of the people there) it caused delay.
As people may have seen a couple of minutes ago, the server was online and again showing normal proboards.com information.
User data is now being reloaded onto the system, until all data is loaded the server will remain offline
UPDATE 2:
User data is 10% copied (process started when i made my last post if you want to use that to gague how long you think it will take)
As soon as this process is complete i can bring the server back online, there will be no further changes needing to be made
UPDATE 3:
80% complete
