I wasn't sure where to post this question, sorry if its in the wrong board. My question is. On a bbcoded post template, I have added in negative margins so that the text appears on top of the image. But as you can see by clicking HERE at the bottom of the image (coding) the highlighted code, seems to be pushed to the bottom due to margins. How can i close the gap between the image coding and the coded tagged, version? Tumbleweed Jordan, could either of you advise me on this please? Or anyone else of course

Looks like you have an element with a set height of 500px. Remove that and add a positive margin to the element with the textarea/codebox thing.

Tim Camara, just to clarify what you mean by textarea/codebox thing. This piece of code, inside the highlight code plugin is for copy and pasting the image and text you see above it. So by adding a positive margin into the code box the wrapped bbcode, would then add a positive margin to the piece each time its copied and pasted. v4 template ugrades, dohtml to v5... we can do them all! I'm confused as to what you meant above so I'll wait for a reply back before i try anything else. (because I have already tried numerous things and the wrapped code always apears ontop of the image)

Okay, I'm afraid I don't quite understand what exactly you're trying to do then. Can you provide a picture of what it's supposed to look like, or an example of something similar?

ok so here's the ad that I will be posting on other forums. What's happening is that the post height, is messed up. v4 template ugrades, dohtml to v5... we can do them all! A proboards resource forum, dedicated to supplying members with graphics; templates and theme's for their proboards forums. Requests boards are now open in all areas, for members only! all i did here was press enter twice and do you see the gap or lack of gap that's appearing after the above code? So this is what I'm trying to do is sort out the gap between the image and text here. And because you suggested i removed the 500px height, its now cutting off the bottom of the image.

Oh, I see. Add a height: 500px; to your center-aligned div at the top level.
Edit: you can add a bottom margin to the same element if you want more space below it too.

Ah ok i was adding in the height to the image div. Which was causing a huge gap after that. So now I think its resolved. I'll be back if it isn't. Thanks Tim Camara
