chrome apparently doesnt like one of the regexp I put in there. I just tested with Chrome, FF, and IE and version 1.1.6 works in all of them.

Works, PERFECTLY!!!! You are a genius, Wormopolis! I tested hash tagging in the regular message box - no space needed, NOR, was a space needed in the quick reply box. Further, quoting the hashtag in a post ... works perfectly! No links or code appear. As far as what I can see, this update ironed out all the wrinkles. Thanks you so much! |

I uploaded the latest version of the hashtag plugin. The new version doesn't try to create hashtags in embedded links, but I've noticed that every time I fix an embed broken up by the previous version of the plugin, an intended hashtag in the post in which I fixed the broken embed stops working. In the profile linked below, the Transformers hashtag, well, "un"-converted. electricferret.freeforums.net/thread/233/megatron |

actually that doesnt help it either. the link that is part of the image is html connected to the first hash. if you switch to bbcode editor and resave it will convert it. I am trying to find a way to get the visual editor to work around it.
