By deleting the plugin, all settings will be deleted too, whilst if there will be a reset option, this shouldn't be the case.

As much as I'd like to provide a reset option, the only solution I've been able to come up with requires an additional super key to be added to the plugin.  In all likelihood, if I add that feature, it would be as an addon plugin, much the same way that Wormopolis does many of his plugins.

Well, not with that attitude there won't be.  The reality of the situation is that I only have a limited number of hours in the day to devote to coding.  In those hours, I can either work on fixing bugs, adding new features, or this plugin.  (Obviously those choices are a bit simplified, but you get the idea)  Within that framework, I really am trying to produce an update for the plugin.  

Since you are all so eager for it, how about this, I'll release a beta version here on support, and those who want to can help me beta test it and get all the bugs out.  I think it's pretty much feature complete for adding in the respawning, but I haven't had time to test it at all beyond seeing that there are no syntax errors.  So watch for that in the next hour or so, probably over in the plugin development board.

Why cant the key data just be cleared? wont that start the game over without losing all the plugin settings?

Hey, now! While I did want the update, please don't lump us all together in the "impatient" department. I do understand your time constraints.

All I know is when I delete the plugin and re-install it, all settings are gone and I have to re-add all the names and time frames and such again
Tho if members can come back from the dead, that would change some things (except when all scientist die too lol)

dont delete the plugin.

go to admin panel - plugins - manage - keys

you can choose to clear key data there. it wont do anything to your settings. just clear what is stored for each user.

Yes. You need to reset the game. You can do this by deleting the  pb_infection_key in forum plugins > manage > keys.
