I know its been years since anyone has posted in this and I hate to resurrect a dead post but I just spent several hours trying to fix an issue with this theme on a forum I am running now that was setup by someone else. Perhaps if someone else is still using this theme this can be useful.
If you set custom member ranks it will no longer show the the member ranks in the mini profile, only the user name and the stars. You need to edit a few lines of code under Themes>Layout Templates>Mini-Profile
here is the code I changed if you want to copy and paste. The changes I made were between lines 10-16 and again at lines 100-105 in case you just have made other changes and don't want to copy and paste and want to edit it yourself
