I am very interested in having a menu-like setup, similar to the drop down admin panel, to act as my sites category drop down menu. As well as an actual menu bar similar to the sites navi bar. If someone could create such a board set-up, that would be amazing.

That's not doing quite what I want it to do, thanks though.
I want the menu to become like tabbed categories, with the drop down menu displaying the boards in that category. And the navigation bar to become the menu, displaying the home, admin, profile, etc. buttons. I'd like it to span across the top, getting rid of the banner, just like the top of the admin panel pretty much.

It'd just take some custom editing, that's all. For instance, remove (hide) ALL current menu buttons (home, help, etc) and replace them with Category 1, Category 2 etc. Now, add the above plugin, and then for each sub-menu, add the board urls and names. The problem with this of course, is every time you create, move etc boards around, you'd need to change them in there too. You could then create a "bar" below this, in place of the nav tree, and custom add the default forum buttons (home, help, search etc). It'd be simple enough to do

Oh... I didn't realize I could do that. Thanks you guys! However I do still have some questions...
1. Also how do I widen the menu bar so that it stretches across the entire page, instead of being the same length as the boards?
2. How do I disable the navi tree?
Sorry if I'm being a bit annoying, I just can't seem to find everything in the new layout D:

Sorry if I'm being a bit annoying, I just can't seem to find everything in the new layout D: This all depends. If you've kept the navigation menu and are using that, try this: support.proboards.com/thread/434970/template-different-widths-header-contentDo it exactly like that, but set your banner's height to 0px: Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Header > Banner > Banner ImageTo disable the navigation tree, just "comment it out" in the Layout Templates. Do this by going to: Admin > Themes > Layout Template > Forum Wrapper On lines 51 - 53 (approx.) you will see the below. Add the parts I have in blue: <--<div id="navigation-tree"> $[navigation.tree] </div> -->If you also want to make it so the "Participated does not show for people, which you may do, do this instead (lines 49 - 53): <!--$[participated_threads_link] <div id="navigation-tree"> $[navigation.tree] </div> -->

I decided to keep the navi tree. However when using the code to widen the menu and banner it effected the drop-down effects from the earlier code. Here is a link to my site so you can see what it's doing. warriorstradition.proboards.com/Also... umm... how to I make the corners pointed instead of curved?...

If you're having a problem with the plugin, you'll need to post in that author's plugin support thread, linked above. =)
