Hey guys! So this is my first attempt at making a v5 forum, and I admit, I am pretty overwhelmed. Mostly, I am wondering if there are any board mods like this one that I had for a v4 forum? tea-cups.proboards.com/I looked through the plugin section, but I honestly wasn't entire sure what I was looking for. None of them seemed to be full board modifications. Thanks for any help! (I should add, I have tried putting the code in the headers and footers however they aren't taking.)

Hi there, Andrea! First, let me talk to you about the layout of V5 real fast. Basically, Plugins act like... features, really. Like the Monetary System, the Awards System--they're kind of like perks, add-ons. A FEW do reconstruction, but mainly if you are looking for remodeling of an actual layout on your forum, you want a Layout Template. CSS, the pretty colors and fonts and all the appearance make-ups are in your Admin > Theme > Advanced Styles & CSS The HTML, the actual structure and bones of your forum, is in your Admin > Structure > Layout Templates And the fancy gadgets, the JavaScript and jQuery and complicated coding, is all tucked neatly away in Admins > Plugins with a super easy user interface so YOU don't have to deal with the coding Before, we had to deal with ONE sole area for all coding: headers and footers. It was messy and often difficult for newbies to learn. You also had to layer on codes to try and affect the HTML, whereas now you can go directly INTO the HTML and rearrange it how you like it. The codes are separated for ease and organization and the hardest codes are usually dealt with by the Plugin Creators. It's a new change from V4.5 but I promise you it's actually world's above it; it's easier and allows SO MUCH MORE customization and awesome features. For your board layout, you're going to want to go to our Template Request board and ask someone to do that for you there, as it requires a remodel of the HTML and probably some CSS. If you'd like, I know a GREAT Resource site that takes requests readily and can probably do this for you easypeasy, but if you'd like to see if someone on Support will do it that's fine, too!

₪» ⅀ ƪ Ƒ «₪, thank you for replying! I would actually love the site that will take requests. I do understand the change from headers/footers to where it is now, merely confusing as an long-time ProBoards user.
