I run a college sports forum ( www.fightinbluehens.proboards.com) and I'd like to show the league standings for each sport at the top of that sports respective page. I imagine I could do this by inserting something into the header for those areas, but I'm wondering what exactly I could do. I'd like something that looks like the standings you would find in any newspaper or on ESPN ( espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/standings) although it would only be for one conference and, obviously, wouldn't need to be anything fancy. Just a section for the team names, overall wins/losses, conference wins/losses, and win percentage. I tried searching around for something already existing and I wasn't able to find one, but perhaps my search was too specific or I searched with the wrong terms. Any ideas, suggestions, helpful hints?

Would it be several boxes like on the site you linked to? There is a 3 boxed table as a plug-in here (look in the T's).... support.proboards.com/thread/434486/plugin-index?q=table ...and if you needed more than three you could code it so there are double boxes in each section, I'm sure. If you need the coding for the actual sections in each box to show the stats, we can help with that as well.

That might work, thanks for pointing it out Tumbleweed. I'll play around with it and see. Appreciate it.

So the first problem I have run into is that, while I can set it up to go into a specific board with the "Where it shows" function, I need it to show up in several spots (football, men's basketball, women's basketball, etc) and be totally different each time. This table allows you to enter the info just once, so if I put the football standings in, it can only be used in the football board because anywhere else I use the table, it will just replicate the football standings. I may have to settle for just setting up a basic table in each header, I was just hoping to find something a little more polished.

Hey there, superman7515. I think that this would work perfectly if you made a Table and put it into the Header of each board you want it in. Then it will display whatever results you want for each one and they'll be different like how you want. I know you said you want something more polished but you can make it look nice with some CSS coding, it doesn't have to look like nothing but black boxes.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards. I just know that I have no experience with CSS, so I was holding out hope that someone had something I could plug in. Thanks for the help ladies and gents.

I replied in your other thread but you could have just posted here since we were already offering help.
