Automatic Gamertag on Mini Profile

I recently have seen a forum that when you register you put your gamertag in the form,
And when you log in on your mini profile you have your xbox live gamercard there automatically,

Would be something we could add to our current forum that could use this.

i was thinking it easy enough for these guys

and a whole lot others i just cannot seem to work it out for our members.

And i was thinking of them to add to the profile not like a sig picture

Hmm.. well it couldn't be something done at registration because you cannot affect the registration page. You could always just make it a custom profile field and people can fill it in.

Go to Admin > Members > Custom Profile Field. You could name it something like Gamer Tag or whatever you want. Select Text Field from the dropdown box. Set it to show up in either mini-profiles & profiles, just profiles, or just mini-profiles, and then set it so members & staff can edit it.

Then, when anyone goes to their profile and clicks Edit Profile, in the Personal tab, it'll show up as a field that they can put their GamerTag in. =)

Hey again i was looking further into it and have a way of getting the Gamertag from xboxlive.com and straight to a website in the place you want it but i dont see an option on the custom profile field to enter it

This is the code i was wondering if there was a way we could enter it so when they put in there gamertag it replaced the REPLACE YOUR GAMERTAG section of the code with there gamertag, Triggering it to automatically get the xbox gamercard for that user?

I tried manually inputing codes into the mini profile and profile section but had no luck lol,

Custom profile field is called :XBL Gamertag
And no its not private its so everyone can see there gamertag, if they wish to add it to there profile

My Gamertag is :VPFL Suarez     if u wish to test with that
