Banner not fitting

I have tried making a banner about 10 different times now. I have tried to make the banner the "logo image" and it still looks horrible. I just want the banner to be a small strip across the top of the page. I cant figure it out. I attached the image i want for the banner if that helps

actually i am using a better fitting logo for that banner but i am still having issues. wolfscape.boards.net

If you go to your Colors & Theme Creator, there's an option for uploading a Banner Image. Try putting it there instead of as a Logo Image.

roosterslays, it also looks like your forum width is larger than the actual banner size. If you go to admin > themes > colors and theme creator > under "Style Options" you will see a field for "Forum Width". You can adjust your width to the same size as the banner's width, and then it should not repeat. If you want your forum to remain the same size regardless of the size your banner is you can do this:

"Admin > themes > Advanced Styles and CSS > Visual Editor Tab. Find the section called "Header Top". Click that, then Forum Banner > Banner Image. You'll see a field labeled "Background repeat", click that to no-repeat, and then your banner shouldn't repeat. Make sure to save any changes before exiting out of the colors or visual editor tab.
