It's not a matter of what Proboards supports but rather what each individual's computer supports. Even if there's a fancy font on your computer that you can see, chances are it's getting transformed into some ugly bare font for other members who don't have that font installed. However, if you use Google Fonts, you can install it onto your forum and thus ensure everyone can see it =) There's a Plugin for this and a Layout Template if you'd like to take a look, though all it really requires is you to go to Google Fonts, pick your fonts, and generate the HTML code for your header/footers
