2 Different Questions about InfoCenter & Collapsible Plugins

Im sorry if this is answered already, I did see one thread with this same question but there was no answer. 

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section I guess this could go in the request board.

I am using 3 plugins for Collapsible Categories, InfoCenter(CIC), and QuickReply(CQR). The CIC and CQR both allow for images to be included but not the Categories, is there a fix for this?  I do like that it says "New Posts" when you collapse a category, but I am afraid my members are not realizing they can "expand" the categories(I only have 1 category set as collapsed by default) I also feel it would look better having the image on all collapsibles.

Another quick question on a different subject.

Are there any other plugins for the InfoCenter? any thing like a slimmer version?  I think the V4 of the boards had a feature like that IIRC.  Idk exactly what I want the infocenter to look like but there should be options as to what it can show.  I did catch a thread talking about moving the location of the infocenter, but I think its fine where it is I guess.  It just seems bulky, I want my board as simple as possible I also have a nitpick about the news feed not touching the category list and nav bar but, that's just me being silly.

To add an image to a category, go to Admin > Structure > Boards & Categories, hover over the category you want and click on the gear, then keep Name as it is and change Display Name to [img]IMG URL[/img]
with IMG URL being the image url you want the category to be

Info center remodels are most likely going to be in Layout Templates so look in the Template Library and see if you like anything =) It's located here on Support as a sub-board in Layout Templates. If there aren't any already made, you can make a request for one ^^
