Thread Thumbnails

I was wondering if there was already a plugin for this. I've been looking and I haven't seen it, so I am assuming not. Anyways, it is a thumbnail that replaces the folders that sit on the left side of the thread title when members create a new thread. They may have the option to use it or not when they post their thread.

In this case, when members post a new thread and want to attach a thumbnail image, the image will replace these plumbobs.



Is there a way this can be done? Thanks!

Actually it works really well! The only problem I did encounter is that the thumbnail size is extremely small. You can't see what is on the image and there aren't any options to change the image size.

The images are currently the same size as the images they are replacing.
The person creating the thread also having the ability to determine the size of the image could become a logistic and aesthetic nightmare, however, an option in the plugin setting where the admin could set a max size might be a workable.
