Avatar Border?

I may be missing it but is there a way to add a border around members avatars?

Just to be sure I checked in the visual editor and all you can seem to do is center, left align, etc. I did add this to the bottom of my style sheet but I had to add a width and height smaller than the 150px I have it set at to get it to work. Otherwise it just gave me a border on the top and left for some reason.

width:140px;
height:140px;
border:2px solid #ff0000;
}
