New Rank Salute [library support]

It is v1.1.0.

The rankwatch box that I see is centered. As far as I know, it is only the one poster that has had this difficulty.

The first time that it happened, I ran a test as a poster and it happened to me, too. I do use a good sized image for the salute so, I changed the box to a smaller one (375h x 400w)and she still got stuck again. I don't think I can make it any smaller and still use my image.

It used to work fine for her, but not recently. She uses IE.

well THAT particular message was about making it not add rankwatch to the bottom of all the dropdown menus that come from shorty's plugin. since mine is targetting the same characteristics. I havent been back to that one yet because as Elf said, it was only affecting the admin and not everyone.

individual messages per rank I only got as far as making the UI for it, but none of the coding works to do anythign with it.

Its been a rough week.

I have to play around with jquery dialog some more and see if I can get it force showing again.  Im reading this correctly in that it pops up, but she is scrolled down the page and cant scroll up to it?

Yes, as best as I can understand, it pops up at the bottom of the screen and she cannot scroll down any further to view and click the ok button.

just long hours doing a movie theatre renovation. Its a special sound system and Im the one climbing around behind the screen wiring up speakers. a lot of climbing up, climbig down, up, down, up, down and hauling large runs of heavy guage wire around. so like rowing a boat for a while..

I will be doing less physical stuff next week, but will be in santa fe doing a digital conversion.

Keeps track of each members current posting rank, and pops up a congrats message when they reach a new rank.  it also sends a notification to admin for each user that gains a rank.

user can also click their name on their profile view to see the history of their rank ups.

NEW to v1.1.0
you can now add color to member's names based on stored posting rank


DISCLAIMER:  based on the way it currently works, if the admin name doesnt already appear on the page, the admin wont get a notification about the rank up.  I have a request in to change that.

What do you do to turn it on??

when they reach a level it will pop up the dialog you have setup. if your link is on the page, you will get a notification about it in your menu system under the new "Rankwatch" menu item.

I just had my member Sydna post this on my forum

I just got this message

"Congratulations, Sabine Aris Oana Ishtar, you have reached the next rank and earned +1 Constitution, please post in Invocation to collect your corresponding stat upgrade!"

But also letting you know that behind it an error message popped up saying something like "You can only push into an array."

The first message is correct, its' what the popup is supposed to say, the second thing about the array is what I'm reporting. If you need me to get any details from her, let me know. =3 I know she uses the browser Nightly

that is when the admin doesnt have a link on the page in order for the admin key to be accessed. until my feature request goes through, its going to happen.

Third request edit: Another thing that would really help me out personally is if you could tell the popups to begin at a particular rank instead of just starting at 0. My first rank, 0, which is "Please Post in Almanac" is not included in the other ranks purpose-wise but is still in the popup so any new member will get it and they'll be confused as hell about it. xD If I could tell the plugin not to begin the popups until the second rank, whether by giving the name of the first rank I want it to start at or the post count minimum, whatever it may be, I'd be verrryy grateful =3

Is there by chance any update on when you think you might consider working on this (or if you are going to indeed work on them at all) or is the theatre still keeping most things up in the air? =)
