We have a character census thread here: eclipse913.proboards.com/post/34903

Since I'm tired of updating it with character names, colour codes, etc. (since people can just . . . go to the post above it to see who's in what faction), is there a way to do something like this where it would just show up in the sidebar:

Friend of mine sent me coding for it, but since I don't know anything about coding, I figured I'd post it here to see if it's what I'm looking for/if it needs to be tweaked.

Edit: If the coding below is good to go, where do I put it? I don't want to risk screwing up the board Brian pretty much rebuilt for us after the V5 upgrade. -.-

Hi begemot,

That table was written for V4 forums and you'd have to do a ton of editing to get it to work. All the classes would need removed, they didn't add px after their widths and probably some other things. Plus they used images for each of the names and you'd be better off just using text. I do have a couple on my test site that is sort of like the one you posted. It's the 2nd one down on my test site:

If you want it, here is the code. You can edit anything you want, just be careful with the widths or one line may go onto the next. You can just put the whole thing right where you add your side table content.

I only have two groups in there but I labeled where to copy to add more. If you are confused about anything let me know.
