Wormopolis, I thought that I would get daring and see if I could get the wins/losses to show up under the avatars, but I can't find directions for how to do this. Is this possible or did I misunderstand being able to do this? Thanks.

in the notification plugin, one of the tabs shows the placeholders you need to insert into the MP. unless you have made significant modifications to the structure, it should be able to find them. although I suggest putting things inside span tags at least to make sure other elements in the MP dont get affected.

argh, I'm in the wrong thread again. Sorry, I thought because it was keeping track of the wins/losses it would be in the chess plug in.

I'll give it a look/try later on. Thanks. I haven't done anything with the mp, hey I'm afraid to touch a lot of this stuff, but I do have a theme I downloaded that might have had a bunch of stuff done to it, but I'll worry about that one when I get to it.

the tracking has to be done with notifications because the key is configured over in that plugin. the main thing is the MP is still inside a div with class="mini-profile"

Couple of questions. 1. someone wanted to know if there were a way to show which pieces have been captures perhaps on the sides of the board. 2. If it would be possible to have whose turn it is in that first post, so that when someone looks at the game they can see whose turn it is. If not cool, I said I'd ask.

I understand what you are wanting, but I have to brainstorm on how to do it without cluttering up the board. would they be in a straight column or scattered? or would it just be a tally thing that had a number next to a piece of more then 1 piece had been captured? this would also require adding a new element into the key to store captures since right now it doesnt - it only stores pieces on the board and their position.

2. I can do that one easier since the EPD data literally stores that information (which is what I use to keep track of whose turn it is). but where would be a good place to display?

1. The pieces could be a lot smaller and it would not matter if they were scattered or a straight line. I think it registers easier to visually see what has been captured. Maybe place them on the sides of the board that pops up when you are making your move.

2. I would think the first post would work as that is where the board is. What about an image like the check mark that would appear above the board where the stats are? It would move from side to side depending on whose turn it is. Just tossing an idea out there.

3. I have a new issue (of course, ) For some reason the chess forum is cutting off. Its the only one doing it. Its a new theme "sage" and narrower but its the only forum doing it.

Is there a way to fix the text for the playing as black and white? Sorry to be such a bother.

That must be a really narrow forum in order for those boxes to even touch. I have to lookup the classes did them but I think you can just decrease their width

Would that fix the text underneath too? Any ideas why the chess forum cuts off the last post column?

Ja, problem ist, I moved Queen of different positions, und when I do dat, it told me I moved which has not shown in board.

Anna can see it, her Bishop ist whit position und can still take my q while I moved, I think problem ist in latency of timing of moves..JMO

which move was made instead of the queen moving, and where was the queen trying to move? I can copy the EPD into a test game and try and simulate it to see why.

what is the name of that theme so I can look at it myself?

as for the last post column, I am not sure what is doing that yet.  the theme it loads for me isnt as narrow so it isnt cutting anything off

The theme that is cutting off the last posts by column, in the chess forum in "sage".

I think he wanted to go to 5g.
