From your support thread here, it seems that what you're really shooting for is a plugin that adds a marquee BBCode button.

You may want to edit this thread's subject to reflect that, so that plugin authors can get an idea of what you're asking for, even before they enter the thread.

It worked, but that is not what I am looking for. I am looking to have the members have a button to be able to scroll text or an image in their posts.

That's why he is requesting a plug-in, per the first three posts.

TumbleweedI didn't understand by his previous posts he wanted it to go into the posts themselves? It still doesn't look like a easy task even with a plugin? If this can be done, I'm interested myself! LOL I know jrryan, I figured you've been around long enough and been helpful enough, you deserve a little teasing. Trying to make you feel like family. lol I don't put anything past these coders. What I think is nearly impossible is a piece of cake to them. A coder I am not. But honestly, I was just funnin' with ya.

Since this involves BBcode that is already supported except for the fact that Proboards has not provided a button for it, you can use this plugin to create a custom button for it. -enter marquee for the tag -enter an image you would like to use for the button -enter Marquee for the name -enter marquee for the attributes .checkmark visual and bbcode at bottom to have your custom button appear on those tabs (in this updated version [v0.8.9] if you opt not to place any buttons on the quick reply then custom buttons won't appear there)

Hello ChrisIs there a way to move/place the marquee image button (which i have from the v4) within the Wysiwyg / BBCode Buttons area. Right now I have it between the Insert Smiley and Insert Highlight button. If this cannot be done, then is there a way to take up the space to where it is right next to the Smiley Insert? Example:

You would need to use the more advanced nightly version (aka "Control Freak") where you can define your own button groupings and therefore position how you desire. The basic version lacks the complexity needed to accomplish such a task.
ETA: oh yeah, forgot you can set an index to a group but still cannot control where in that group the button gets position

Thanks for the info Chris and have it exactly where I want it: I used index 3 for that position.
