It would be helpful to know the themes my active members are using. Especially if I decide to change or even eliminate a theme or two. Does a plugin exist? I had this feature with V4 where the name of the skin appeared under the member's avatar in the mini profile. I know... I hated to say it.

I'm not sure if you are looking for a plugin to make this easier to read? But if you go to Admin > Themes > Theme Manager, click on a theme, at the very top it will say: "# members are currently using this theme." Edit: WHOOPS. I didn't read your post correctly at all x___x That is not what you asked for, my bad I remember VS Admin posting something about it not being possible to have a list of members using a theme (last request in this post: support.proboards.com/post/5677760 ) But I'm not sure if this would mean an impossible plugin... I'll let someone else answer that

OK, Thanks Smangii. I see where it was left on the cutting room floor. I'll check back later to get the official answer.

It would definitely be possible to have a plugin display in their profile who has what skin, as well as a general count of them with a custom plugin that would watch when people editted their profile to see what skin they're using!

Im guessing you want to be able to see a complete list of names for each theme.
for starters, I can only see a forum key being able to store any of this information because nothing else is common to everyone. and even though there is 32K worth of storage that also means there is a limit it can store.
It wont be able to go back and determine what everyone currently has. it could only work on people who have logged in since the plugin was installed in order to be able to extract their theme id from proboards.data.
just wanted to throw those factors out there

It worked that way under the old version too, Wormopolis. That would be ok. Might it be forthcoming?

I'd love to see something like this again too. I had it on the previous version and it worked well. When we converted, it transferred the information along but in Personal, which still showed in the mini profile but when a member changes their them, it still reflects the old them as there is now no correlation to anything with the old code. But, as an Admin, it's nice to see who's using what.

After a couple of months away, I just got back to some coding and today started this exact plugin for a friend! Wait around for a week or so while I get my Coding Mojo back into top gear. ( It's true, if you don't use it, you forget how to. That riding a bicycle thing is a lie! )
Coming soon....

Wonderful Pebble! I bet there are more people than just Forever Sunshine and me who will appreciate your effort. Keep thinking positive and you will get those brain cells lubed.

I would love it also, I ask in a thread I made else where.
I as a Admin can not get into other members profile to change there Background for them, one old guy Disable Vet has cripple hands & always has me to change it for him.
I like to see what skins is being used by my members also.

I have an idea. Can the code be written so that if admin blocks all themes and members are forced to 'default', when all themes are unblocked, the code will then pick up members' original choices?

Here's the plugin to test. More info, if you need it might be found here : interoceandesigns.com/thread/3346/theme-mpPlease read the whole thread before installing the plugin. Plugin | : Theme In MP | Author | : Pebble | Download | : Dropbox | Keys Used | : One User Super | Last Update | : 17/02/2014 | Version | : v1.0.0 | Demo | : Staff only | Template Mods | : None |
Images:Required Inputs : The theme names & the theme id number Description : This plugin will allow staff to see which theme a member is using, displayed in their mini-profile. Instructions : Download import to your forum. Now disable the plugin! You now need to get a list of your themes names and the corresponding id number. Input this information into the plugin manage section. If you have not entered the theme that a member is using then 'Not Entered' will appear in their mini-profile. If you have not entered all the themes then this will only update when they change to a different theme, or, you can clear the plugin key data. Doing this will clear the entries for ALL your members. Once you have entered your Theme names and Id's , you can now enable the plugin from the manage page. There is no CSS added to the plugin due to the different and mainly modded MP's. You can style per theme by adding CSS to your style sheet, or for all themes by adding some CSS to your Global Header. The CSS to target is a div containing the text : .MPtheme { css here }
Plugin update : The 'admin' can now go to edit their profile > settings > Forum theme and the theme id 'should' show up next to each name. This should make things easier to set up if you have a mountain of themes. Enjoy! Pebble.

Hi Pebble! This works like a charm. Love it! Thanks so much for accomplishing it. One little thing, it's actually outside and below the border of the mini profile. Anyway to get it inside the border at the bottom? If not, no big deal. It would just look better, IMO, of course.

I had never heard of the mini-profile, seems it would take up space in there profile, until the change to V5 I haven't checked into it or where to get it, I guess it is needed for the plugin to work? Where or how do I put in a mini-profile? Thanks
