Okay so I have the sidebar installed and I'm having some issues with it working properly. I'm sure I'm not doing something correctly, but regardless, something's out of whack. I've tried several different things and regardless can't get it to work no matter what I've done (even the way it's fixed with the page bothers me, and when I changed it to scrolling it do much either). I also can't get the advertisement to move. For instance, I like the current style the version 5 is in, but I would like the advertisement (if at all possible) to move below the banner. I also have no idea how to get the bottom picture footer thing to connect completely to my board. I've tried a few things with that as well. I'm like at a total lose with this update, haha. Sorry and thanks for all who try to help! Here's my "testing" website. riseofhades.freemessageboards.com/ I wanted to get it as close to possible as the version 4.5 site. riseofhades.proboards.com/index.cgi

I'm pretty sure we are not allowed to mess with the placement of ads on the forum. Prohibited Codes Codes that affect the placement of advertisements on any ProBoards forum, except those specifically authorized by ProBoards. Otherwise you could just popout some jquery and move that sucker.

No there's actually a plug-in I've seen that moves the ads around, but doesn't delete them- like it just changes the placement to make it look better with the board. I just wasn't sure if there was anything like that that I existed and I was looking over it.

Maybe this is the Jquery you're looking for: <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('#borderFoot').appendTo('#borderBody'); }); </script> Insert that in a header/footer I think that's the magic you need

P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓, moving the ads in that fashion is not allowed, as you previously stated. Please do not provide codes that perform that function. K'DIZZLE, the Sidebar Redux plugin has a Move Banner option that moves everything around so that the ads are above the forum.

Okay, so Brian whenever I have the Move Banner option selected there's no way/coding I can get the advertisement to move underneath the banner? It's just kinda gonna stay at the top?

If I'm not mistaken, you could look at the way your theme is laid out and possibly work around that ads in that way.

In your CSS change #borderBody to #sidebarr-wrapper and it will start the background after the ad rather than before it since you're using the Move Banner option.
Add this to the sidebar plugin's header/footer tab.

Oh my god thank you so much. Last question, is there anyway to do that with the bottom as well so the footer image is attached to the board instead of under the advertisement? I'm just having problems with the new coding and plug-ins and such. Sorry! I really do appreciate all the help!

Also, is there anyway to take the changes made to the free betazone proboards and apply it to my actual site or will I pretty much have to do that all over again once I update?
